Age is just a number.  And nowhere is that more true than in terms of cricket development.  Over the years, we have seen the whole rich diversity that is kids’ development growth path.  That’s why we are loathe to group kids by age. Even though many parents and sometimes the kids, themselves, expect that.

So the age groupings below are purely indicative and, as you will see, within each there are two or three different development streams reflecting experience, current capability and progress.

That’s why we are keen to explain our approach directly at information sessions and allow parents, with their child, to make an informed decision about which stream they join.  Particularly where the child is on the cusp of two age ranges.
