Teamwork is about instilling a sense of common purpose in a group of individuals with diverse skills and talents to deliver more as a team.
As part of the Year 1 programme, participants will be mentored while working together, using the leadership and coaching skills they have learned, to plan and execute a small community-based fundraising project to support the second year of their involvement and the work of Small Acts of Kindness.
From the start of Year 2, they will be supported to plan a much larger team fundraising project to be delivered over several months around their exam and other commitments. It will give them the opportunity to take part in an overseas project, taking the Inspire programme to children in areas impacted by extreme poverty and conflict.
It is part of the charity’s mission to involve students, their teachers and parents in the delivery of the Inspire programme in this country and around the world.
